Dietary supplements are booming – but the market is flooded with products full of unnecessary additives, underdosed active ingredients or exaggerated promises. Many “pharmacy bestsellers” fail independent tests due to overdoses or lack of purity.
We follow an orthomolecular approach: optimal supply of micronutrients, individually adapted and of the highest quality. In the last 5 years, we have intensively reviewed numerous manufacturers – for ingredients, production standards, lab tests, transparency and service. We only recommend those who meet our strict criteria without hesitation.

There are vitamin supplements for weight loss, to boost metabolism, for beautiful hair, and to live to 120 years old ;-). Don’t let lofty promises tempt you into spending too much money on dietary supplements. Nothing is better than a healthy lifestyle with enough exercise, healthy sleep, little stress and, above all, a healthy diet.

4. Are dietary supplements without magnesium stearate better?
Yes, from our point of view. Magnesium stearate is used as a flow agent, but can hinder the absorption of other nutrients in higher quantities. All of our recommended manufacturers deliberately avoid it and other problematic additives such as titanium dioxide, nanoparticles or artificial colors – for clean labels and better bioavailability.
5. Which dietary supplements are really useful?
That always depends on your individual needs (e.g. blood test). Vitamin D (especially in winter), omega-3 (if you eat little fish), magnesium and vitamin B12 (for vegans) are often useful.
