Are Biogena products certified organic products from organic farming?
The name Biogena is derived from the ancient Greek term “βíος” (Bios), which means “life”, and is symbolic of our mission to promote the health and well-being of people. Interestingly, the Biogena brand was created before the introduction of the EU Organic Regulation.
Products that contain vitamins or minerals – like most of our preparations – may not be called “organic” products by law, even if some ingredients come from organic farming. For the use of our name “Biogena” in connection with such products, the EU Organic Regulation requires that the label must state “No organic product according to VO 834/2007”.
