Polyphenol complex from French grape and grape seed extracts & trans-Resveratrol
OPC: A mix of plant polyphenols. OPC stands for a group of valuable plant substances known as oligomeric proanthocyanidins. These polyphenols are mainly found in the outer layers of plants – such as peels, barks or seeds – and offer protection against UV radiation and environmental pollution. Particularly rich sources of OPC are grape seeds, skins and the bark of the maritime pine.
Biogena Resveratrol Formula combines OPC with trans-Resveratrol, a natural ingredient in red wine that gained popularity in the 1990s. Resveratrol protects plants from parasites and fungal attack and is produced in increased amounts during stress, such as from UV radiation. In food supplements, trans-Resveratrol is preferably used due to its high stability.
Biogena OPC Resveratrol Formula:
- Contains high-quality oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPC) from extracts of grapes and grape seeds
- Contains the plant active ingredient trans-Resveratrol, which occurs naturally in red wine
